Who we are and our experience for the Manufacturing Industry
Company History
Laser-Fab was formed in 2005, to service the laser cutting and forming needs of a local OEM, G&S Airport Conveyors. Very quickly into Laser-Fab’s existence, opportunities arose to work with other OEM’s, Fabricators, and Custom Cutting Companies.
Various industries have taken advantage of Laser-Fab’s Equipment and Expertise. From Agriculture to Oilfield, Construction to Forestry, Government to Private, and many others in-between.
Starting with 3 employees, one 5’x10′ sheet laser, and one press brake in 2005, Laser-Fab has grown in both equipment and personnel. Today Laser-Fab has 25+ employees, two sheet lasers, one tube laser, three press brakes, along with other equipment.
Laser-Fab specializes in Laser Cutting and Fabricating Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, & Aluminum. Our 70,000 sq. ft. facility allows us to Cut, Etch, Brake, Pem, Weld, Machine, Roll, Assemble, and Paint various Parts and Projects.

Laser-Fab was excited to be a part of the "Bighorns" Project in the village of Radium Hot Springs, BC. The project is made out of 3/16" thick CORTEN weathering steel, and Laser-Fab was given the task of laser cutting and bending the many parts that were needed to create the complex angles as the horns "wrap" around to form the shape of the Bighorn Ram Horns. There were 281 unique part numbers and 532 total pieces created for Laser-Fab's portion of the project. Idea 64 Projects designed and installed the Bighorn Sheep Ram Horns, in the middle of the north end Round-About, which is visually spectacular as you drive into Radium from Banff or Golden.
